1. Corporate Scope & Scottish Workshop Credentials
These contractual conditions govern the supply, bespoke fabrication, bench overhaul, mainland delivery, and aftercare of vintage bandit machines, multi-game upright cabinets, pinball tables, and spare parts provided by Arcade and Bandit Repairs Ltd (Company No. SC741928).
Principal Engineering Facility: Aurora, 120 Bothwell Street, Glasgow, G2 7JS, United Kingdom.
Direct Workshop Line: +44 7513 234567 • Electronic Mail: info@arcadeandbanditrepairs.com.
By lodging an equipment reservation, commissioning repair work, or ordering spare components through this portal, the client accepts these terms in full.
2. Private Recreational & Collector Use Declaration
Every mechanical reel bandit, video arcade cabinet, pinball table, and token pusher retailed by Arcade and Bandit Repairs Ltd is prepared strictly for private domestic recreation, heritage collectors, and non-commercial home games rooms.
All apparatus is dispatched configured for one-touch credit Free-Play or calibrated for zero-value brass souvenir tokens. No machine supplied by our Glasgow facility is configured or licensed for commercial monetary play. Private ownership of historic amusement machinery in homes across Scotland, England, and Wales is entirely lawful.
3. Five-Day Workshop Hold & Pro-Forma Reservation Protocol
Because heavy electro-mechanical cabinets require tailored trim options, doorway clearance checks, and final bench verification, our online basket operates as a direct Workshop Reservation System rather than an automated card payment gateway.
Submitting a reservation request logs a five-day workshop hold under a unique reference code (such as ORD-ABR-XXXXXX) with zero upfront card charge. A senior Glasgow technician telephones the client within 24 hours to confirm cabinet specifications, verify ground-floor delivery access, and issue a formal BACS pro-forma invoice.
4. Sterling Valuation & Two-Person Transit Logistics
All cabinet and spare part prices listed across our catalogue are stated in Pounds Sterling (£ GBP). Because commercial timber and steel cabinets weigh between 80 kg and 145 kg, our two-person blanket-wrapped transit crew coordinates delivery scheduling directly with the client.
Specialist bench repair services—such as mechanical bandit linkage rebuilds, CRT monitor recapping, and stepper reel re-indexing—are billed according to our published workshop tariff ("From £80.00") following a physical diagnostic check at 120 Bothwell Street.
5. Room-of-Choice Placement & Pre-Delivery Access Checks
Upon arrival, our two-man delivery crew transports the cabinet into your ground-floor room, levels the leg adjusters, connects the 230V mains lead, and conducts a live demonstration. Clients must verify beforehand that external and internal corridors provide adequate clearance (typically 762mm standard UK doorway width) for the dimensions listed on each product page.
Customers who prefer to collect equipment in person from our Bothwell Street loading bay may book a collection window Monday to Saturday; our engineers will protective-wrap the cabinet and assist with vehicle loading.
6. 24-Month Glasgow Workshop Guarantee
Every restored cabinet and custom build carries a comprehensive 24-Month Domestic Guarantee commencing on the date of delivery. Protected assemblies include:
- Regulated 230V switching power supplies and step-down isolation transformers
- Mechanical bandit escapements, stepper reel motors, and optical index boards
- JAMMA/MPU logic motherboards, solid-state game storage, and audio amplifiers
- CRT chassis deflection circuits, HD IPS panels, and deck microswitches
Exclusions: Coverage does not extend to accidental physical damage, liquid spills, unauthorised circuit modifications, unshielded mains surges, or deployment in commercial public venues.
7. 14-Day Inspection & Return Privilege
In accordance with UK distance selling regulations, domestic buyers enjoy a 14-calendar-day inspection period from the day of delivery. Should you wish to return a standard machine, please notify our Glasgow desk in writing within 14 days. The apparatus must remain in its delivered condition, and specialized two-man return pallet/van transport costs remain the responsibility of the buyer unless a verified manufacturing defect is present.
8. Historical Trademarks & Component Identification
Historical manufacturer names—including IGT, Barcrest, Data East, Gottlieb, Stern, Williams, and Sanwa—are referenced solely to describe original vintage hardware and compatible replacement parts. Arcade and Bandit Repairs Ltd operates as an independent restoration and custom engineering company.
9. BS 1363 Mains Compliance & 45-Point PAT Certification
Every machine leaving our Bothwell Street bench is wired with three-core H05VV-F insulated mains cable, protected by a fused BS 1363 UK 3-pin plug, and supplied with a signed 45-Point Class I Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) certificate.
10. Liability Cap
To the fullest extent permitted under Scots and UK law, Arcade and Bandit Repairs Ltd shall not be held liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the domestic installation or operation of any supplied amusement cabinet.
11. Severability of Clauses
Should any clause within these Terms of Service be deemed unenforceable by a competent court, that specific clause shall be modified or severed without affecting the validity of the remaining terms.
12. Applicable Law & Scottish Courts
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom, and any legal proceedings shall fall under the jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
